Yes, I managed to leave Ko Pha Ngan. I'm currently in Ko San Road, or however you spell the place, backpacker ground zero in Bangkok. I left Ko Pha Ngan at noon yesterday, caught a 1pm ferry and then took two different mini buses to get to the overnight bus north. Nice bus, though I don't think that I can say the same about the people working on it. It looked like they were trying to go through my bag, some of the things that I clip on to the outside had been moved about. Nothing's missing though. Banged on Neil and Tom's door around 7am this morning, waking them after 4 hours of sleep. Neil said had it been anyone else...death, or severe pain anyways. I can check into my room at 1pm, so I still have a few hours to kill till then, but no rush, I've got my bag stashed in the boys' room, and I figure I'll get some breaky in a bit. And then, explore Bangkok.
